Canada is deserved of its reputation for magnificent scenery, cleanliness, plentiful wildlife, peace, diversity and vast spaces. Where ever you visit those images of Canada will be enforced.


The second largest country in the world after Russia, Canada has a population of only 31 million which are huddled along the southern border leaving the remainder of the country unspoilt and many parts unvisited.

Canada is made up of 10 provinces and 3 territories in the north. The only country Canada ‘s land borders with is the United States to the south (6379km long) and the US state of Alaska to the northwest.


Toronto is the largest city and commercial hub whereas Ottawa is the capital of Canada . The two official languages of bi-lingual Canada is English and French. The majority of the French speaking population reside in Quebec although communities are also strong in New Brunswick and Ontario and can be found across the country.


British Columbia on the Pacific coast is separated from Alberta by the Rocky Mountains . Alberta is part of the three Prairie Provinces which also includes Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Ontario and Quebec, the most populous provinces, lead into the Maritime provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. These three provinces are often included with the province of Newfoundland and Labrador and referred to Atlantic Canada.

The Yukon Territory, Northwest Territory and Nunavut make up Canada’s three territories which umbrella the provinces in the south. The majority of the territories remains uninhabited and air transport is often the only way around.
