Winnipeg – Manitoba

Almost exactly half way between each coast and the provincial capital of Manitoba, Winnipeg looks and feels very much like a western city due to its architecture. Home to half of the province’s population and as the fourth largest city in Canada Winnipeg is an important grain handling and transportation centre.

Summer to winter are very extreme and the corner of Portage Ave and Main St is said to the be the windiest corner on the continent.
